Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Sr. Manager Supply Chain & Logistics to own and optimize the procurement for complex aerospace programs. You will lead a team of buyers, drive strategic sourcing, and manage long-term supplier agreements to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, and program leadership, guiding policy creation, risk mitigation, and supplier performance governance across high-mix, low-volume operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing procurement teams.
• Experience with commercial procurement for complex BOMs under FFP contracts and LTAs.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Hands-on proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• BOE creation and KPI tracking in a commercial program environment.

Responsibilities

• Own program-level supply chain performance including schedule, cost, and EAC.
• Direct and develop a team of Supply Chain Professional Buyers.
• Lead strategic sourcing and negotiation of FFP contracts and LTAs.
• Develop procurement policies, templates, and tools for compliance and traceability.
• Analyze material flow data and supplier performance to identify root causes and improve gaps.
• Lead supplier capacity management and readiness to protect program rates.
• Drive industrialization of build-to-print/build-to-spec hardware with FAIs and readiness reviews.
• Assess TRL and MRL, establishing maturation roadmaps for production commitments.
• Manage supplier schedules and integrate plans into the master schedule.
• Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related technical field

Master's degree in related field with 7+ years equivalent experience
