Job summary

Htprof, a veteran-owned defense & aerospace electronics manufacturer, seeks an Electronics Technician for high-reliability PCB assembly and precision soldering. You will participate in prototype and production builds, aligning with strict IPC standards and AS9100D requirements.

Role involves diagnosing hardware deviations, collaborating with design engineers, and supporting procurement for active builds. Local commute within Greater Milwaukee / NE WI corridor is expected.

Qualifications

• Verifiable electronics technician background with precision PCB soldering
• Ability to read multi-page electrical schematics and interconnect prints
• Proven diagnostic skills without heavy supervision
• Proactive, self-directed work ethic in a lean environment
• Local commute within Greater Milwaukee / NE WI corridor

Responsibilities

• Execute high-reliability assembly with precision soldering and micro-assembly of multi-layer PCBs
• Diagnose hardware deviations using oscilloscopes, meters, and signal generators
• Support engineering design during layout reviews, prototypes, and handoffs
• Manage technical procurement support for BOM management and vendor tracking
• Maintain and update technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Ensure AS9100 compliance through quality processes and testing
