6 Degrees Search is seeking an Electronics Technician for prototype PCB and aerospace systems in the Greater Milwaukee / NE WI corridor. This direct-hire role focuses on high-reliability assembly and debugging of ruggedized electronics.

You'll work with a lean engineering team, touching every phase from prototype to production, with travel for field validation and client installations up to 20 days per year.

Formación

• Background as a dedicated electronics technician with precision PCB soldering experience.
• Ability to read multi-page schematics and wire harness diagrams.
• Independent diagnostic capability without heavy engineering oversight.
• Local commute within Greater Milwaukee / NE WI corridor.

Responsabilidades

• Execute high-reliability assembly: precision soldering and micro-assembly of multi-layer PCBs and harnesses to IPC standards.
• Diagnose hardware deviations: isolate, trace, repair circuit faults with test equipment.
• Support engineering design: collaborate with design engineers during board layout reviews and bench validations.
• Manage technical procurement support: BOM management, component sourcing, and vendor tracking.
• Maintain system documentation: create/update drawings, schematics, assembly instructions.
• Ensure AS9100 compliance: support quality processes and environmental testing per aerospace standards.
