Job summary

Tri-S Recruiters is seeking an Electronics Technician/Technologist for a direct-hire role in the Greater Milwaukee / NE WI corridor. The position focuses on high-reliability PCB assembly, precision micro-soldering, and diagnosing complex hardware to IPC standards, within a veteran-owned aerospace electronics environment.

You will bridge design and production, guiding the build from prototype to production, with a clear path to broader engineering responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Verifiable background as electronics technician with precision PCB soldering and benchtop assembly.
• Ability to read multi-page schematics, wire harness diagrams, and interconnect prints.
• Proven skill isolating circuit performance errors without heavy oversight.
• Proactive, self-directed mindset for daily bench tasks and deadlines.
• Residence within commuting radius of Greater Milwaukee / NE WI corridor.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-rel assemblies: precision soldering and micro-assembly of multi-layer PCBs and harnesses to IPC benchmarks.
• Diagnose hardware deviations: isolate, trace, repair circuit faults using oscilloscopes and meters.
• Support engineering design: collaborate with design engineers during layout reviews and prototype builds.
• Manage procurement support: assist BOM management and component sourcing for active builds.
• Maintain system documentation: update drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Ensure AS9100 compliance: support quality processes and environmental testing.
