Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an Electronics Technician for prototype PCB and aerospace systems in the Greater Milwaukee / NE WI corridor. The role emphasizes high-reliability soldering, schematic literacy, and hands-on diagnostics within a veteran-owned defense electronics environment.

The position offers a competitive base salary up to $70,000 with a full healthcare package and 401(k). Domestic travel up to 20 days per year supports field validation and client installations.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree preferred; 10+ years of direct trades experience valued in lieu of degree.
• Proven precision PCB soldering and benchtop assembly.
• Ability to read multi-page schematics and interconnect prints.
• US work authorization and local commute within Greater Milwaukee / NE WI corridor.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-reliability assembly with precision soldering of multi-layer PCBs and wire harnesses to IPC benchmarks.
• Diagnose hardware deviations: isolate faults, repair faults, validate signals with test gear.
• Support engineering design through board layout reviews, prototype builds, bench validations, and handoffs.
• Manage BOM assistance, component sourcing, and vendor tracking for active builds.
• Maintain and update technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
