Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an Aerospace Painter - Level 3 for swing shift in Kent, WA. This on-site role requires experience in applying aerospace primers and topcoats using HVLP and airless systems, plus handling safety and instrumental maintenance.

The ideal candidate will operate and troubleshoot coating equipment, ensure thickness accuracy, and collaborate with racking, turning, and sanding operations, while upholding NADCAP and aerospace quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in aerospace primer/topcoat spraying on varied geometries.
• Familiar with spatter finishes, dry-film lubricants, conductive coatings and Teflon finishes.
• English literacy and ability to read work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review work instructions for paint type, thickness and tolerances.
• Load, adjust and maintain HVLP coating equipment.
• Setup and operate primer and topcoat application systems.
• Apply primers/topcoats to diverse substrates and geometries.
• Maintain safety practices and share best practices with team.
• Support racking, turning and sanding operations as needed.
