Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Kent, WA seeks an experienced spray coating operator to apply aerospace primers and topcoats using HVLP equipment on a range of substrates and geometries. The role requires hands-on operation, troubleshooting, and a focus on quality.

Shift is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with training on day shift for 1–3 months. Eligible for bonus plans, PTO, holidays, health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding work instructions for paint type, tolerances and thickness.
• Ability to set up and maintain HVLP coating equipment.
• Experience applying primers and topcoats to various substrates and geometries.
• Familiar with safety practices and protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review instructions for paint type, tolerances and thickness.
• Load, adjust and maintain HVLP equipment variants.
• Set up and operate primer and topcoat systems (ID pots, pumps, guns).
• Apply primers/topcoats on simple to complex geometries.
• Adhere to safety directives and share best practices.
