Job summary

Safran Seats in the United States seeks an OSS Product Support Engineer to interface with customers and aircraft manufacturers, supporting engineering issues across Aircraft FAL. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum three years combined experience in product support, manufacturing or engineering functions.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with customers and aircraft manufacturers to assist with engineering problems across Aircraft FAL support.
• Review structural sub-assemblies and drawings to ensure conformance to requirements for installation and delivery issues.
• Act as primary interface during Air Framer DFI/DFMA activities and participate in program milestone meetings as needed.
• Provide engineering and manufacturing perspectives to all assigned Product Support Requests.
• Suggest design changes and coordinate with other engineering groups to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
