Job summary
Safran Seats in Gainesville, Texas is seeking a Systems Engineer to contribute to aerospace seating projects. You will help document and manage engineering requirements, coordinate with stakeholders, and support verification and validation activities to meet project timelines.
The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent experience, strong English communication, and the ability to translate requirements into concrete specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or 12 years related experience in lieu of degree.
- Preferred 1 year of experience in an engineering-related field.
- Ability to translate product requirements into specifications and create compliance matrices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting requirements for engineering projects; ensure clarity and traceability.
- Collect and organize requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in requirements reviews with team members and subject matter experts.
- Assist in tracking verification and validation tasks to support timelines.
- Prepare product verification plans under guidance from senior team members.
- Provide updates on status of requirements and validation activities.
