Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to create interior electrical installations for aircraft, including wiring, harnesses, and equipment layouts. You will produce project-level drawings and select materials to meet design objectives.

Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Inventor), 3D design experience, and familiarity with FAA standards are required. Collaboration with Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Certification teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft electrical design or similar.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD and Inventor) and 3D design/drafting.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical installation designs for aircraft interiors, including wire routing, harnesses, and equipment installations.
• Generate drawing lists for project-level STCs.
• Select materials based on electrical requirements and specifications; evaluate trade-offs.
• Ensure designs meet customer criteria, quality standards, FAA requirements.
• Provide liaison engineering support to resolve build and installation issues.
