Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • 3+ years of proven experience designing fluid, mechanical, or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo) and FEA tools (ANSYS).
  • GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Knowledge of valves, regulators, accumulators, mechanisms, or pumps.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
  • Passion for advancing safe human spaceflight and Blue Origin’s mission.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee lifecycle of component systems from requirements to post-flight serviceability.
  • Ensure cost, schedule, and performance targets are met.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to integrate components.
  • Perform sizing and analyses for fluids, thermal, and structural loads.
  • Support fabrication, installation, and testing of flight hardware.
  • Contribute to mechanical design across drafting, modeling, and testing.
