Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a qualified engineer to support the production and operations of New Glenn, ensuring the successful manufacture of flight-proven valve components. You will integrate with procurement, testing, and operations to resolve challenges and drive manufacturability improvements.

The role emphasizes design-for-manufacturing, analysis, and documentation to maintain safety and quality in high‑pressure, cryogenic hardware used for spaceflight.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or design engineering; supporting complex mechanical or fluid systems.
• GD&T (ASME Y14.5) interpretation and drawing reviews.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Production & manufacturing support on the floor; troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Dispositon of non-conforming hardware with clear engineering interpretation.
• Drive design for manufacturability reviews and cross-functional process improvements.
