Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced CAD/Drafting Engineer to contribute to the Lunar Permanence program. You will develop layouts, create detailed drawings, and support engineering teams across structural, mechanical, fluids, and avionics areas with Creo Parametric and Windchill.

The role requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional teamwork, and familiarity with GD&T and aerospace hardware selection. Join a mission-driven team advancing lunar infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design or equivalent.
• 2+ years in aerospace development or similar.
• Proficiency with Creo Parametric and Windchill for drawing generation and release.
• Familiarity with standard fits and tolerance analysis (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience selecting aerospace hardware and working in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/evolve design layouts and maintain detail part and assembly drawings.
• Support engineering teams with mechanical layout and detailing for structures and assemblies.
• Apply company design and drafting standards to create complete data sets.
• Implement standard methodologies balancing cost, schedule and performance.
