Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a mechanical design engineer to develop and maintain CAD drawings for spacecraft systems. You will work on structural, fluids, and avionics detail parts, using Creo Parametric and Windchill to support cross‑functional engineering teams in a safety‑driven aerospace environment.

The role requires an Associate degree in CAD & Design with 2+ years in aerospace or similar industries, plus strong GD&T knowledge and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
2+ years in aerospace development or related field.

Responsibilities

Prepare/evolve design layouts and maintain detailed part and assembly drawings.
Support engineering teams with mechanical layout and detail design for structures, fluids, and electronics.
Apply standard drafting techniques to data depicting engineering designs and drawings.
Adhere to cost, schedule, and performance requirements with appropriate methodologies.
