Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer for Base Operations at Arnold AFB, TN. You will design, evaluate, and install hardware across HVAC, piping, drives, mechanisms, and test hardware, collaborating with test and system engineers.

You will work under guidance, applying standard engineering methods and ensuring designs meet requirements while coordinating with manufacturing for cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have BS degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to lead small teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support for various plant projects and test activities.
• Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering methods and criteria in design solutions.
• Perform assignments with specific objectives and limited variables for mechanical engineering.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, and scopes of work.
