Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks Mechanical Systems Engineers to support the Test Operations and Sustainment contract at Arnold AFB, TN. You will work as part of an integrated team, maintaining and sustaining mechanical equipment to ensure test readiness for airframes, engines, and aerospace systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with system-level engineering of mechanical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
• Ability to develop maintenance plans and procedures.
• Ability to conduct hazard analyses and write work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to system malfunctions and coordinate corrective maintenance to return to service.
• Update and maintain system documentation and responsible areas.
• Collaborate with design engineering, fabrication shops, DoD client, and contractors.
• Develop advanced maintenance plans with Asset Health Assurance personnel.
• Conduct system safety hazard analyses and write clear operating instructions.
• Assess risks and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Develop estimates for improvement projects.
