Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Junior Design Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting USAF Test Operations and Sustainment at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. You will develop procurement documentation, drawings, and equipment specs, coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure alignment with approved design packages.

The role emphasizes designing and analyzing process systems, with hands-on collaboration on capital projects and maintenance initiatives within a high-hazard

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, aerospace, or chemical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Active DoD security clearance a plus (preferred).
• Experience in machine design, mechanism design, and stress analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for new process systems and perform hydraulic, thermal, and stress analyses.
• Design mechanisms, wind tunnel models, and test fixtures with associated stress analysis.
• Coordinate with engineers, drafters, and project teams to deliver complete design packages.
