Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an early career Mechanical Design Engineer supporting the Test Operations and Sustainment contract in our Base Operations Design group at Arnold Engineering Development Complex at Arnold AFB, TN. This Mechanical Engineer will be part of an integrated team maintaining and sustaining USAF Test Ops and Sustainment efforts.

Open to internal and external candidates; entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance and access AEDC networks
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements at Arnold Air Force Base

Responsibilities

• Provide design support for plant projects and test activities
• Apply standard engineering methods and criteria in design solutions
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications and scopes of work
• Review designs and data from manufacturers or suppliers
• Use CAD/CAE tools in engineering tasks
