Job summary

Woodward is hiring Operations Technicians to support production at the Loves Park Campus. The role covers weekends on a 2nd shift (Fri–Sun, 3:00pm–3:30am) performing manufacturing operations with hand and specialty tools and inspection equipment to produce aerospace parts.

Training hours for the first two weeks run on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm). In week 3, training shifts to 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3:24pm–1:54am), ensuring a smooth transition into production responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Understanding and following SOPs and documented procedures.
• Ability to observe, log and escalate process deviations.
• Commitment to Lean principles and 5S at the workstation.

Responsibilities

• Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently produce products using specified tools and equipment.
• Observes and records key process variables to ensure consistency and quality, and logs daily operations.
• Conducts inspections and tests to verify product accuracy and functionality and maintains records.
• Maintains 5S at workstations to ensure cleanliness, organization and proper storage of tools and materials.
• Adheres to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
