Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is hiring Operations Technicians to support production lines at the Loves Park Campus, weekends on 2nd shift (Fri–Sun, 3:00pm–3:30am). Responsibilities include manufacturing operations with hand and specialty tools, and inspection/measurement to produce aerospace parts.

Training is 1st shift for two weeks, then 2nd shift from week 3. Level 1/2 roles require adherence to SOPs, data logging, and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Follows documented procedures to produce products using specified tools and equipment.
• Observes key process variables to ensure quality and logs daily operations.
• Conducts inspections and tests to verify product accuracy and functionality.
• Adheres to 5S principles and safety protocols in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate production lines following standard work and SOPs.
• Record process data and escalate concerns as needed.
• Support training and improvement efforts for standard work.
• Maintain workstation organization and tool/material storage.
• Uphold safety and regulatory requirements on the shop floor.
