Woodward, Inc. in Loves Park, IL is hiring for a 2nd shift (M-Th 3:24pm-1:54am) Operations Technician to support our Machine Operations at the Loves Park Campus. This role requires basic setup, operating CNC or manual machines, and following standard procedures.

Successful candidates will apply 5S and lean practices, read engineering blueprints, perform first article inspections, and work with team members to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Level I/II machining role requiring setup and operation of CNC or manual machines.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Follows 5S and Lean practices to maintain efficiency and safety.
• 2+ years machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate multiple CNC or Manual machines to produce parts.
• Process Adherence: Follow work instructions and interpret blueprints.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts and record data.
• Organization & Cleanliness: Maintain workstation organization and cleanliness.
• Safety Mindset: Enforce safety protocols within the team.
