Job summary

Woodward is hiring Operations Technicians to support the production lines at our Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. The role is on weekends, 2nd shift (Friday–Sunday, 3:00pm–3:30am) and involves manufacturing, assembly, testing, or special processes using hand and specialty tools and inspection equipment to produce quality aerospace parts.

Training hours for the first 2 weeks are 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm; starting in week 3, training may shift to alternate shifts for a few months.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs and documented procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools safely.
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Follow documented procedures to produce products using specified tools and equipment.
• Support training of other members and contribute to standard work improvements.
• Log daily operations and escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain 5S at workstations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
