Job summary

Woodward, Inc. in Loves Park, IL is seeking an Aerospace Development Assembly and Test Technician for a 2nd shift role starting at 2pm.

You will build and test development hardware, support data acquisition and analysis, and work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in a fast-paced engineering environment. Qualifications

• Experience performing assembly and testing of fuel system components in the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in fabrication techniques.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and systems with increasing complexity.
• Modify and/or repair components under minimal supervision.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Identify and propose solutions for moderately complex issues with components or systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and implement solution.
• Conduct moderately complex tests on components and systems with some independence.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes or tools based on hands‑on experience.
