Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Bingen, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead development, optimization, and scaling of advanced manufacturing processes for mechanical, electrical, and UAS systems on-site.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will shape tooling and workstation design and maintain work instructions and BOMs to ensure flawless production. You will drive 5S, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration while balancing cost, quality, and schedule.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Five+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience writing work instructions and defining manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes for mechanical and electrical aerospace products.
• Design tools and workstations; maintain BOMs and work instructions; apply 5S on the floor.
• Provide training to staff and participate in design reviews for manufacturability.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and change management for assigned projects.
