Job summary

Atlas in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design and revise process plans for mechanical assemblies. You will review contracts and blueprints, implement best practices, and create detailed work instructions for assembly activities.

This role supports new product introductions and cross-functional teamwork. The candidate will analyze wearables such as fixtures and processes, ensuring conformance to IPC standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and CAD tools.
• Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and aerospace/defense process controls.
• Experience with manufacturing work instructions and MRP or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality management procedures and work instructions.
• Assist in establishing/updating Assembly Process Operations in MRP.
• Create robust process plans for Aerospace/Defense components.
• Generate repair or rework routings for non-conforming products.
• Review contracts for manufacturing and process requirements.
• Provide day-to-day Manufacturing floor support.
