Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, NC is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering team. You will optimize industrial processes, ensure feasibility of dossiers, and develop integrated manufacturing instructions to support ramp-ups and production.

You will work with ME specialists, Front Line managers, and operations teams to deliver efficient solutions while meeting safety, cost, quality, and lead-time targets. Strong knowledge of SAP/MES and Office is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and tools used in process engineering.
• Experience supporting manufacturing programs and ramp-ups.
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: ensure industrial feasibility and produce optimized processes.
• Development Process Optimization: define industrial system and line balancing.
• Continuous Improvement: identify improvements to reduce travel and improve throughput.
• Additional Responsibilities: training support and stakeholder communication.
