Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. in Kinston, NC, is seeking a Process Engineer to support Manufacturing Engineering. You will optimize industrial processes, develop SOPs, and drive improvements to cost, quality and lead times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 3+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years of aviation and/or manufacturing experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Working knowledge of BMS and QMS systems.
• FAA, EASA, and ICAO knowledge preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization and feasibility assessment for industrial dossiers.
• Develop integrated manufacturing dossiers and SOPs.
• Analyze line balancing and manufacturing systems during major mods.
• Ensure configuration from definition to production start.
• Identify opportunities to reduce travelled work and improve WIP.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver optimized solutions on time.
