Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Level 2/3 for the Propulsion team in Commerce, CA. You will create and improve manufacturing processes, review designs for manufacturability, and manage BOMs while collaborating with shop floor teams to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The role requires CAD proficiency, GD&T reading, and experience with lean methods; AS9100/ISO 9001 familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience applying lean manufacturing in production environments.
• Proficiency with CAD software and reading drawings with GD&T.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve manufacturing processes to meet hardware requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy and manufacturability.
• Manage Manufacturing BOM via MRP.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to meet quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Communicate plans through Manufacturing Readiness Reviews.
• Provide tooling design input and CAD modeling for tools.
