Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager Level 2 in Chandler, AZ. This 100% onsite role leads a team of engineers responsible for manufacturing electronics and avionics flight hardware, with responsibility for process design, layouts, and improvement initiatives.

You will guide engineering on design concepts and specs, ensure regulatory compliance, and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electronics, or Engineering Management with 8+ years leading a team of engineers.
• US Citizenship is a requirement.
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Excellent communicator and able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10+ engineers responsible for manufacturing electronics and avionics flight hardware.
• Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts.
• Implement process improvement initiatives and report status to senior leadership.
• Investigate and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.
• Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to maximize equipment use.
• Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations.
