Job summary

SNC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Vandalia, Ohio, to help ensure products are designed for efficient, high-quality production from the start. You will apply DFM/DFA principles, develop tooling, and drive process improvements across manufacturing lines.

You will collaborate with design, quality, and MES/MRP-enabled teams to deliver robust, scalable production solutions in a security-conscious environment. This role is in-office and full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and quality.
• Design and implement production tooling and fixtures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Develop and optimize production flow and material handling.
