Job summary

Omnimax-Internationa is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to independently develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes. The role acts as a technical resource across engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and operations to boost performance.

The position leads process-improvement initiatives, resolves complex problems, and supports new product introductions from prototype through production launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience in metal fabrication or similar.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and manufacturing methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specs, and BOM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering support to production operations.
• Lead improvement projects focusing on safety, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.
• Design and implement fixtures, jigs, tooling, gauges, and production aids.
• Create and maintain routings, work instructions, standard work, process docs, and labor standards.
• Lead root‑cause investigations for recurring quality, productivity, and manufacturing issues.
