Plant Professionals Staffing seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer II to advance high-precision aerospace manufacturing. You will refine machining processes, manage PRR activities, and design fixtures using CAD/CAM tools for production and quality teams.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, lean waste reduction, and strict quality controls per AS9100/ISO 9001. Strong collaboration across engineering, operations, and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline; equivalent combo with an Associate’s Degree may be considered.
• 4+ years hands-on manufacturing engineering in precision metalworking or machining.
• Solid experience with CAM programming software; GD&T (ASME Y14.5) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and refine manufacturing processes and manufacturing execution plans.
• Lead Production Readiness Reviews and maintain document control for specs and files.
• Design fixtures and tooling with CAD to support production and quality teams.
• Interpret customer blueprints and create in-process drawings for key machining and inspection cycles.
• Lead RCCA investigations and drive corrective actions using 5-Why, Fishbone, and Pareto methods.
• Provide shop-floor support and cross-functional communications with customers and suppliers.
