Job summary

Blue Origin seeks skilled Manufacturing Engineers to industrialize new products for space vehicle integration and tests on the Space Coast, FL. Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years Level 2 Manufacturing Engineer, 5+ years Level 3 Manufacturing Engineer, 8+ years Sr Manufacturing Engineer experience.
• 1+ years of experience creating English work instructions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card) or asylee/refugee status.
• Must be able to work second shift and flex to other shifts as needed.
• Open to extended hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrialization of new products for vehicle integration and test, structural assembly, mechanical systems, solar arrays, avionics, fluids, and thermal products.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production to accelerate space vehicle build.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation: work instructions, process flow diagrams, tool designs, inspection plans.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methods (composites, precision machining, additive manufacturing, advanced assembly).
• Support RCA of process or product non-conformances and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability.
• Ensure work aligns with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards and safety.
