Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems for space exploration. You will ensure quality control, optimize supply chain logistics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce costs and improve production timelines.

This role focuses on lunar hardware fabrication environments and advanced manufacturing techniques. Location is Seattle, WA; relocation is available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering role.
• 1+ years of experience creating English work instructions.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to work second shift and flexible to move shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrialization of new products across solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, and structures.
• Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM), DFA, and DFT.
• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to accelerate space program production.
• Develop manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process flow diagrams.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methods.
