Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Finisher II for the 1st shift in Buffalo, NY. This hands-on role finishes aerospace components by removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections to ensure quality, safety, and performance before inspection and assembly.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Finisher experience in a machine shop, with readiness to work from detailed operation sheets and blueprints. A $3,500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Finisher in a machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and bodies to plan entire sequence of work performed.
• Select, sharpen, and/or make special tooling as required.
• Select lighting aids, inspection gauges, and visual magnification as required to meet quality specifications.
• Perform work on complex bodies having multi‑internal hole intersections but, on occasion, also includes all work performed by Finisher II employees.
• Instruct and assist Finisher II employees on new jobs and methods.
