Job summary

Moog Inc. seeks a Finisher II for 1st shift in Buffalo, NY. You will read operation sheets, blueprints and bodies to plan the sequence of finishing work, select appropriate tooling, and ensure precise surface quality for aerospace components assembled for military applications.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a Finisher in a machine shop setting.

Responsibilities

• Work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and bodies to plan entire sequence of work performed.
• Select, sharpen, and/or make special tooling as required.
• Select lighting aids, inspection gages, and visual magnification as required to meet quality specifications.
• Perform work on complex bodies having multi-internal hole intersections but, on occasion, also includes all work performed by Finisher II employees.
• Instruct and assist Finisher II employees on new jobs and methods.
