Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand and follow English work instructions.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Finisher in a machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Plan sequence of work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and bodies.
• Select, sharpen, and/or make special tooling as required.
• Select lighting aids, inspection gauges, and visual magnification as required to meet quality specifications.
• Perform work on complex bodies having multi-internal hole intersections and, on occasion, all tasks of Finisher II.
• Instruct and assist Finisher II employees on new jobs and methods.
