Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Master's degree will be considered in lieu of 2 years experience.
• Extensive experience in component failure analysis, metallurgy, and materials engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth investigations into causes of component failures using engineering principles with a team approach.
• Establish direct cause of failed components and collaborate on root cause and corrective actions.
• Analyze metallurgy and material behavior under operational conditions.
• Explain failure mechanisms clearly and document results comprehensively.
• Engage cross-functional teams to improve engineering processes.
• Adhere to MatEng CI processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.
