Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is hiring engineers for the Mechanical Systems Engineering group to design and analyze bearings, gears and seals, and lubrication systems for propulsion engines, APUs and gearboxes. You will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and work on a Hybrid schedule from the Phoenix location.

Responsibilities include designing components and assemblies, performing mechanical analyses and simulations, and documenting results for design reviews and program

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Due to ITAR requirements, US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status is required.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in turbine engines or electric motor/generator applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies in accordance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
• Perform mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Document and present analytical results in design reviews and technical reports.
