Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ seeks a Manufacturing Engineer II to support repair and overhaul engineering, optimize production processes, and develop reliable repair solutions for mechanical components. You will collaborate across functions to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements on-site.

The role emphasizes leading repair development from concept to implementation, applying Lean and Six Sigma methods, CAD layouts, and ERP-driven production planning to meet stringent aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense industries
• Experience with manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality systems relevant to aerospace production
• Experience with process design and improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Experience with manufacturing software tools such as CAD for process layout and ERP systems for production planning

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering efforts by assisting in process development and optimization to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, design, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in documentation and maintenance of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Lead and drive the repair development process, from concept to implementation by designing and developing repairs for complex mechanical components and systems.
