Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Engineer II - Castings to provide technical expertise in materials and processes for cast parts. Based at Tempe, AZ, with a hybrid schedule, you will collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions across the lifecycle of cast components used in aerospace gas turbine engines.

You will engage in design and manufacturing support, quality issues resolution, and supplier interactions while mentoring junior engineers. Travel and lifting requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 2+ years in materials/process engineering in casting.
• Experience with nickel/aluminum/steel/titanium aerospace cast alloys preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support materials and processes for design and manufacture of cast parts.
• Interact with suppliers to resolve issues and drive solutions.
• Serve as technical contact for less experienced engineers across programs.
• Liaise between suppliers and Honeywell Engineering, Quality, SDE and ISC.
