Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Advanced Engineer - Mechanical Analysis to drive mechanical analysis for Electric Power Generation programs. You will work with project leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams on a hybrid schedule.

You will lead technical reviews, guide cooling and rotating component design, and ensure compliance with customer, FAA, and internal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry or technically related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Electric Power Generation products and systems to satisfy customer, FAA, and internal requirements.
• Provide technical leadership of cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Lead design guidance for cooling, rotating components, spline, bearing and oil cooling flow.
• Review customer specs and contribute to compliance matrices.
• Review manufacturing drawings and coordinate changes for product improvements.
• Act as engineering focal for supplier questions and RCCA investigations to resolve issues.
