Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Engineer II – Forgings in Phoenix, AZ, on a Hybrid schedule. You will provide technical expertise in materials and forging processes, collaborating across engineering teams to create solutions for forged components used in aerospace engines.

You will interact with suppliers, participate in product development, and mentor less experienced engineers. The role requires a BS in a technical field and 2+ years in forging materials/process engineering, with experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
• 2+ years of experience in materials/process engineering in the forging industry.
• 2+ years experience with aluminum, steel, titanium and nickel aerospace wrought alloys.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in materials and forging processes.
• Collaborate with forging and raw material suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support design teams to establish forgeable designs and optimize manufacturability.
• Serve as technical point of contact for less experienced engineers.
