Job summary

Sandvik in the US Northeast seeks a Business Development Manager - Aerospace Engine to lead the long-term growth strategy for the aerospace engine segment, driving revenue expansion and market share. You will identify opportunities, shape go-to-market strategies, and build relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers, and industry partners across the value chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• 5 years of proven manufacturing experience.
• CAD/CAM software knowledge: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX or Mastercam.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for basic manufacturing processes.
• Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify target accounts and develop penetration strategies to increase wallet share.
• Assist sales teams with opportunity qualification and account development.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and engineering to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Serve as the technical authority for products, materials and target applications.
• Define product strategy, positioning and roadmap aligned with objectives.
• Track and report KPIs: revenue growth, new customers, pipeline, profitability.
• Support new product launches including end mills, drills, reamers and routers.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams.
• Participate in industry events to increase visibility and opportunities.
