Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Coralville, IA is seeking a Test Technician to ensure reliability and performance of aerospace systems. You will perform electrical/mechanical testing on prototype and production boards, troubleshoot failures, and work with engineers to analyze data trends and pursue improvements.

The role requires US citizenship, the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, and a CETa or equivalent certification, with 2nd shift availability and 100% onsite work.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• HS Diploma or GED; CETa certification required.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift; 100% onsite role.
• Ability to read complex schematics and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical/mechanical tests on boards/units to verify specifications and identify malfunctions.
• Conducts tests including environmental stress screening and ATE through-put.
• Maintains test equipment and lab area; records results and reports to engineers.
• Collaborates with engineers to improve test methods and product performance.
• Performs RF tuning and handling of simple repair actions when needed.
