Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Test Technician to perform electrical and mechanical tests on prototype and production boards and units, on a 1st shift, onsite basis. You will support fault isolation, data collection, and collaboration with engineers to improve products.

Qualified candidates will have a HS Diploma (or GED with experience), U.S. citizenship, CETa certification, and the ability to read complex schematics.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program.
• Must pass the CETa exam from Electronics Technicians Association–International.
• Must be able to read complex electronic schematics and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical/mechanical tests on prototype and production boards/units to verify performance.
• Conducts environmental stress screening and other tests to meet specifications.
• Maintains test equipment and records test results.
• Collaborates with engineers to improve test methods and product performance.
• Works independently and in a team, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
