Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a Test Technician for a 3rd shift onsite role in Coralville, IA. You will perform electrical and mechanical tests, fault isolation, and collaborate with engineers to improve products and processes.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, a HS diploma or CETa certification, and readiness to lift up to 25 lbs. Competitive benefits are provided starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• HS diploma or GED, or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must pass the CETa exam from ETA-I.
• Must be willing and able to work 3rd shift.
• Must be able to read complex electronic schematics and follow instructions.
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical/mechanical tests on boards/units to verify performance and identify malfunctions.
• Maintains production equipment used in testing.
• Conducts testing using DMM, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
• Collaborates with engineers to improve product performance.
• May perform RF tuning and minor repair actions when needed.
• Maintains records and completes paperwork; keeps work area clean.
• Collects, documents, and reports test results; evaluates data.
• Reads complex schematics and follows written work instructions.
• Independently and in teams, contribute to test processes and troubleshooting.
• May stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
