Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Coralville, IA seeks a Test Technician for a 1st shift, 100% onsite role. You will perform electrical tests on prototype and production boards, troubleshoot failures, and work with engineers to improve performance of products and processes. Must be able to read complex schematics and obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required to access program information.
• HS Diploma or GED; if not, two years of relevant experience.
• Must pass CETa exam by ETA-I.
• Must be willing to work 1st shift.
• Ability to read complex schematics and follow instructions.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical tests on boards/units to verify performance to specs.
• Maintain production test equipment.
• Use DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Conduct general maintenance to keep production processes running.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve test methods and design.
