Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a Test Technician for an onsite 1st shift role in Coralville, IA. The position focuses on fault isolation, electrical and mechanical testing, data collection, and working with engineers to improve products for military and commercial aviation systems.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, and an ETA-I CETa certification.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship for access to sensitive information.
• HS Diploma or 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Must pass CETa exam (ETA-I) to qualify.
• Must be willing to work 1st shift and onsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical tests on prototype and production boards and units to verify performance and identify malfunctions.
• Maintain testing equipment and the production process tooling.
• Conduct tests using DMM, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and related instruments.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve test methods and product performance.
• Read complex schematics and follow written work instructions; document results.
