Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Coralville, IA is seeking a Test Technician to ensure reliability of aerospace systems. You will perform electrical and mechanical tests, fault isolation, and data trend analyses with engineers. This 3rd shift, onsite role supports military and commercial programs and requires a CETa certification.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED or 2 years relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Must pass CETa exam from ETA-I.
• Available for 3rd shift work.
• Ability to read complex schematics and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical tests on boards/units to verify specs.
• Troubleshoot to identify malfunctions and verify repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve data trends and processes.
• Maintain test records and prepare required documentation.
• Possibly perform RF tuning and rework as needed.
